Women's Swim and Dive Split Weekend Series with Northern Michigan

Haley Groteler claimed first in the 50 back both days.

DETROIT -- The Wayne State University women's swim and diving squad split their weekend series with Northern Michigan winning 48-27 on Feb. 28th, before falling 40-24 on March 1st.

INDIVIDUAL

Junior Haley Groteler (Holland, Mich. / West Ottawa) won the 50 fly (27.36), the 50 back on both days (29.94) and (28.99), and finished first in the 50 free (25.05).

Freshman Megan Sieloff (Grand Blanc, Mich.) placed first in the 50 fly (27.62), second in the 50 back (31.10), third in the 50 breast (33.89), and third in the 50 free (25.98).

Isadora Sekaric (Windsor, Ont.) placed second in the 50 fly (28.58).

Sophomore Abby Warner (Shelby Twp., Mich. / Eisenhower) placed third in the 50 back (31.76) and third in the 50 breast (31.76).

Sophmore Maddy Chorley (Burton, Mich. / Davison) placed second in the 50 breast (35.83).
