Women's Golf Starts Play at Findlay

FINDLAY, Ohio -- The Wayne State University women's golf program started play in its fourth event of the fall with the William Beall Fall Classic on Monday and shot a 646 (327, 318) and are in tied-for-13th place. The 54-hole event is being played at Findlay Country Club (Par 72 / 6,115 Yards).

LEADING THE WAY
Findlay leads the way with a 593 (301, 292)m while Mary Kelly Mulcahy with the Oilers is the low golfer with a 140 (71, 69).

WSU RESULTS
Beca Vestman (Madrid, Spain) shot a 156 (83, 73) and is tied-for-28th to pace the WSU lineup.

Sabel Imesch (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich. / Grosse Pointe South) carded a 159 (81, 78), while Avery Howard (Muskegon, Mich. / Reeths-Puffer) shot a 162 (79, 83).

Logan Potts (Norton Shores, Mich. / Mona Shores) finished day one with a 168 (84, 84) and Natalie Groom (Orangevale, Calif. / El Camino Fundamental) tallied a 179 (90, 89)

Orianna Bylsma (Montague, Mich.) competed unattached and shot a 177 (88, 89).

TEAM RESULTS
Behind Findlay is Grand Valley State (602), UIndy (603), UMSL (609) and Tiffin (617).
