DETROIT -- The Wayne State University women's swimming and diving program honored the 2012 National Championship team on Saturday before dispatching No. 25 Indiana (Pa.) by a score of 146-74 inside the Matthaei Natatorium.

"Today was both four years and 10 years in the making," said head coach,
Sean Peters. "IUP head coach, Chris Villa, and I have been discussing doing this meet for about four years and it was a really enjoyable day seeing so many great performances!"
"We also had the opportunity to give a 10-year reunion for our heroes of the women's 2012 NCAA National Championship team as we unveiled a new banner in their honor. I am proud of my Warriors today and am proud of my Tartars of our past!"
