DETROIT -- Mikaela Senkus (Macomb, Mich. / Utica Academy for International Studies) was named GLIAC Female Diver of the Week for the second week in a row, third time in four weeks, sixth time this season, and seventh time in her career on Tuesday.

The GLIAC Female Diver of the Week has been awarded 15 times this season and Senkus has been responsible for nearly half of them. The most-recent honor comes after Senkus' performances at Grand Valley State on Saturday. The Macomb, Mich. native won the three meter board with a mark of 299.10 and placed second in the one meter board with a score of 271.94.

Senkus and her teammates are getting set for the GLIAC Championships on Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 15-18 in Holland, Mich. at the Holland Community Aquatic Center. We'll have a full preview available here on the Sunday before, Feb. 12.
