GLIAC -- Senior
Mikaela Senkus (Macomb, Mich. / Utica Academy for International Studies) was named GLIAC Women's Diver of the Week for the eighth time in her career and first time this season on Tuesday.
This past Saturday at Northern Michigan, Senkus won both the one meter and three-meter boards, something she's done each of the past three seasons against the Wildcats with a GLIAC Women's Diver of the Week honor to show for it every time. The first time she accomplished the feat in November of 2021, she received this honor for the first time in her career.
Most recently while facing NMU, the veteran swept both heights thanks to a score of 447.59 at one meter and 265.13 at three meters, both of which met the NCAA Division II standard.
Next up on the schedule for Senkus and her teammates will be Davenport's Don Kimble Invitational on Nov. 17-19. The three-day event will feature the likes of the host Panthers, Aquinas, Bethel, Hillsdale, Olivet Nazarene and Saginaw Valley State.
