INDIANAPOLIS -- Three members of the Wayne State University women's swimming and diving team were in action on Saturday for the final prelim session of the 2023 NCAA Championships.
Hasten Horling (Grand Rapids, Mich. / Northview) swam in the 200 breast before
Barbara Munoz (Yumbo, Colombia / Comfandi Yumbo) and
Megan Sieloff (Grand Blanc, Mich. / Grand Blanc) both took part in the 1650 free.
Horling touched the wall in 17th place (2:19.16) before Munoz (sixth) and Sieloff (ninth) were both among the top 10 thanks to times of 17:04.56 and 17:08.91, respectively. Munoz and Sieloff will find out their final places tonight after the top eight seeds, including
Jordan Fox (Melbourne, Victoria, Australia / Mentone Grammar) and
Alli Vassilakos (Clarkston, Mich. / Clarkston), swim in a timed final.
Wayne State will also race in the 400 free relay, the final event of the five-day National Championships.
