DETROIT -- The 19th-ranked Wayne State University women's swimming & diving team hosted No. 10 Northern Michigan and No. 17 Findlay on Saturday morning at the Matthaei Natatorium. The Warriors handled business against the Oilers 155-139, but came up short against the Wildcats 215-85.
"Today was a rewarding day for all of the student-athletes," said head coach
Sean Peters. "This format was very challenging, but we did a great job as a team to support each other and perform to the best of our ability. I am very proud of our Warriors with their strong swims and excellent dives. I feel confident that, heading into our mid-season meet in two weeks, that we are poised to perform well, and I am excited to see what the Warriors can do. I'm very proud of how we did today!"
