Men's Swimming & Diving Remains in Fourth Halfway Through GLIAC Championships

The Warriors upped their point total to 267.5 through Saturday's action.

HOLLAND, Mich. -- The Wayne State University men's swimming and diving team stayed put in fourth place for the seven-team field through day two of the 2024 GLIAC Championships. The Warriors will head into Sunday's 10 a.m. prelim session with a total of 267.5 points.

"We are at the halfway point and seeing a lot of amazing and heroic performances by so many Warriors," said head coach Sean Peters. "We saw Alli Vassilakos set a meet record in the 1000 free, we saw Clayton Kinnard really come on strong in his 200 IM, and we got to see Jordan Fox win the 200 free against an impressive field. With diving, Mikaela Senkus turned in her most impressive performance this year with a victory in three meter diving. It has been a terrific meet for the Warriors and we're looking forward to the second half."
