Klaus and Forsyth of Men's Tennis Finish Play at ITA Cup

ROME, Ga. -- Wayne State University men's tennis student-athletes Harry Forsyth (Wamberal, New South Wales, Australia) and Luis Klaus (Brühl, Germany) competed in the third day of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Cup on Saturday, October 18.

The WSU duo fell in its first two matches of the tournament, being bested 7-5, 6-4, on Thursday, while suffering a 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 setback on Friday. 

Following the first two days of competition, Klaus and Forsyth were matched with Germano Setti and Matthew Earle of Midwestern State University to close the event.  The Green and Gold pairing found success in day three, topping the MSU duo 6-4, 6-4 to claim victory.

UP NEXT
Forsyth, Klaus, and the rest of the WSU men's tennis squad will next compete on Friday, October 24, at Cleveland State University's Viking Invitational.  The tournament will be a three-day event, with matches to be played at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.
