INDIANAPOLIS -- Wayne State University senior Emily Gordon (Northville, Mich.) competed in the 800m run prelims on Friday afternoon at the 2025 NCAA Division 2 Indoor Track and Field national championships.

Gordon ran a 2:14.56 to place 16th.  She needed a 2:08.56 to be in the top nine to qualify for Saturday's finals, and a 2:09.62 to earn All-America recognition.

Wayne State will now turn its attention to the outdoor season, which begins on March 21-22 at the Indiana Wesleyan Polar Bear Classic.
