DETROIT -- The Wayne State University men's tennis squad appears on the first iteration of the NCAA Midwest Regional Poll. WSU is joined by four other member schools of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
As stated before, the Warriors are one-of-five teams from the GLIAC that is represented on the ranking, joined by Davenport University, Ferris State University, Grand Valley State University, and Purdue University Northwest.
Eight squads will move on to the Midwest Regional Tournament, as the three winners of the GLIAC, G-MAC, and GLVC conference tournaments will receive automatic bids, while five other teams will be awarded at-large bids.
Due to it being the first regional poll, the squads are listed in alphabetical order.

ITA RANKINGS UPDATE
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its most recent installment of its national rankings, with the Warriors ranked 23rd. Individually,
Cedric Drenth (Sulzbach, Germany / Altkönigschule Kronberg) appears as the No. 32-ranked player in singles. In doubles competition, the duo of Drenth and
George Day (Southampton, United Kingdom / Peter Symonds College) is ranked 32nd.
