NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- The Wayne State University men's golf team turned in an another impressive showing for round one of UIndy's Ken Partridge Invitational on Sunday at Purgatory Golf Club.  The Warriors lead the 20-team field after a five-under 283 and were paced individually by Tyler Hurtubise, who's tied-for-fourth with a three-under 69.

"Really good day and good start for the Warriors," said head coach Mike Horn.  "It was one of the coldest days we've had on the course, and we slashed through the muck and mud all day.  From Ian Smith with a really rough start and coming back to contribute with a 73 to all four other starters and the individual Josh Lahner, all the Warriors contributed again today.  Good job to Josh for his two under par 70.  Excellent rounds by Josh DiCarlo, Tyler Hurtubise and Luc Warnock all getting us solid red numbers."
