COUNTRY CLUB, Mo. -- The Wayne State University men's golf team is in 17th place out of 20 teams after the second day of the 2025 Midwest/Central Super Regional being held at St. Joseph Country Club. The Warriors had a 293 team score in round two for a two-day total of 594.
"We definitely had a rough two days, but if we can post 20 to 22 over par tomorrow with a solid round, we have every possibility to move up to the top four!," said head coach
Mike Horn. "There have only been two team scorers under par to this point and we are going to have to have one of those tomorrow. We are very capable of that and don't have to shoot a school record, but will need to be around four to six under par. We're going to go out early and post a number and hopefully stick around and watch us move up the leaderboard."
Central Oklahoma has shot a four-over par 572 (280-292) to lead the field by 11 strokes. Rounding out the top 12 were:
