2008: Made 12 appearances (three starts) and went 2-4 with a 6.58 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 26.0 innings ... earned his first win in relief March 22 at Gannon, striking out a season-high four in 5.2 shutout innings ... notched his first career save March 30 at Mercyhurst, recording the final two outs to preserve a 3-2 WSU win ... matched his best strikeout total in a 5.1 inning relief appearance April 6 against Hillsdale ... collected his second victory in a relief outing April 16 at Saginaw Valley State ... 2006-07: Attended WSU but was not a member of the baseball team.

Pre-WSU: Attended Central Michigan in the fall of 2005 and Macomb Community College in the winter of 2006 ... did not compete at either institution.

High School: A 2005 graduate of Grosse Pointe North ... played four years on the varsity baseball squad ... helped the Norsemen to a 30-7 record and first-place finish in 2005 ... went 8-2 with a 0.60 ERA as a senior ... also batted .470 with 50 RBI, 30 stolen bases, 46 runs scored, and three home runs ... earned first-team all-state honors and was named to the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association "Dream Team" ... was named conference MVP and played in the East/West All-Star Game ... served as team captain.
