Men's Fencing Participates at Notre Dame DeCicco Duals

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Wayne State University men's fencing program went 1-5 at the Notre Dame DeCicco Duals on Saturday. WSU beat Detroit (12-9) after falling to Cleveland State (20-7), Florida (18-9), Notre Dame (23-4), Lawrence (19-8) and Denison (18-9).

SABRE RESULTS
Newcomer Eyad Marouf (Alexandria, Egypt) went 16-1 as the lone saberist.

EPEE RESULTS
Ahmed Elsayed (Tanta, Gharbia, Egypt) won 14 of his 17 bouts.

FOIL RESULTS
Quinlyn Morgan (Olathe, Kan. / Homeschooled / Olathe East) finished with a 12-4 record.

UP NEXT
The Green & Gold will compete at the Northwestern Duals on Feb. 5-6.
