FINDLAY, Ohio -- The Wayne State University men's golf team wrapped up the first two rounds of Findlay's Doc Spragg Fall Invitational on Monday in 11th place out of 16 teams. The Warriors shot a 579 (+3, 289-290) while being paced individually by
Max Leppelmeier (Wauseon, Ohio / Pettisville) and
Josh DiCarlo (Amherstburg, Ont. / General Amherst), both of which are tied-for-23rd.

The tournament field is a tough one as each of the top eight teams were below par and more than a third of the individuals were at least even. Through 36 holes, Grand Valley State is in first at 14 under while Findlay's Colin Schadek and Ashland's Carter Mishler are tied for first individually at six under.
The third and final round of play on Tuesday will begin at 9 a.m.
