FLORENCE, Ind. -- The Wayne State University men's golf team is primed for day two of Cedarville's Belterra Classic after sitting in second place through the tournament's first 36 holes on Monday night. The Warriors carded an even 568 (289-279), just six strokes behind Missouri S&T, heading into Tuesday's third and final round.
"As usual, the boys battled very hard in the second round, but we got off to a soft start again," said head coach
Mike Horn. "Great round by Andrew (Daily) and Grant (Ofield). Really windy, tough conditions led to a very hard scoring day. I'm very proud of shooting under par on the second round and we've got to give the field our best shot tomorrow morning early."
