DETROIT -- The Wayne State University men's golf program is slated to compete in six tournaments this fall, including four during September and two more in October. The Warriors are coming off an appearance in the NCAA Super Regionals, their 15th as part of the NCAA Tournament since 2004.
"The team is excited to start the season at Trine, a tournament that'll give several of our guys the chance to play," said head coach
Mike Horn. "After that comes the Folds of Honor Challenge, which will be an privilege for us to play in as it honors the men and women of our military. Then we return to Big Rapids for the first time in many years to challenge ourselves at the Bulldog Fall Classic. At the end of September, we'll be playing in the Indianapolis Fall Invitational for the first time, before a tournament at Findlay and lastly a trip to Oklahoma for some high level Division II opponents. This schedule will test us in league, in region and at the national level."
