SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. -- Hosting a tournament for the second time this fall, the Wayne State University men's golf team finished round one of the HawksHead Invitational at HawksHead Golf Course on Saturday. Among the five-team field, the Warriors "A" squad carded a 289 (+1) in second while the "B" group was tied-for-third with a 292 (+4).
"We were inconsistent again today," said head coach
Mike Horn. "Our major flaw this fall has been our inconsistent play. Hopefully we will start our comeback again tomorrow as we've done four of the last five tournaments. Hats off to
Andrew Daily with a fine round today. It was a battle for most of the others today."
