KENTWOOD, Mich. -- The Wayne State University women's swimming and diving team claimed its fourth straight first-place finish at Davenport's Don Kimble Invitational on Sunday night. The Warriors won 10 of the 20 events they competed in to help rack up a point total of 1,028 among the seven-team field.
"It was a wonderful weekend for the Warriors," said head coach
Sean Peters. "There were so many great performances with our swims and on the boards. It was a full team effort and we really gave it our all, and the results show. I have to also give credit to all the other schools participating, as they really brought it, and helped bring out the best in us. I know with a strong December and January, we can really have a great February and March, and I look forward to this journey with our Warriors!"
