DETROIT -- The Wayne State University swimming teams (no diving) hosted nationally-ranked Findlay (men T-10th, women #17) on Friday afternoon inside the Matthaei Natatorium. No team scores were kept and the teams mixed genders when competing in the two relays. The Warriors, Oilers and Northern Michigan (men T-10th, women 10th) will go at it for real on Saturday morning inside the Matthaei beginning at 10 a.m.
"Today, we had an exciting meet with the University of Findlay, and it was really wonderful to see some of the best swimmers in the NCAA come together and race," said head coach
Sean Peters. "I am looking forward to tomorrow, and welcoming Northern Michigan into the mix, and really see some exciting races and dives. See you all there at 10 AM at the Matthaei Pool!"
