RICHMOND, Ky. -- Through 36 holes played, the Wayne State University men's golf team is in third place out of 18 teams at the Findlay Spring Invitational.  Playing at Boone's Trace National Golf Club, the Warriors carded a 569 (-7, 283-286), just two strokes out of the two-way tie-for-first between the host Oilers and Missouri-St. Louis.

"The Warriors battled wind gusts of over 40 miles an hour and played very strongly," said head coach Mike Horn.  "Great play by Josh DiCarlo, Max Leppelmeier and Josh Lahner as an individual today.  We know what we need to do tomorrow and the Warriors are gonna do their best to get it done, the joke's over.  The Warriors will need to be better on the greens tomorrow and if we do, we can pull out a victory!"
