Swim and Dive Programs Unveil 2025-26 Schedule

DETROIT -- The Wayne State University swimming and diving teams and 29th-year head coach Sean Peters have announced the schedule for the 2025-26 campaign.

The squads will begin the season at the Davenport Invitational on Oct. 10-11, followed by the Clarion Diving Invitational on Oct. 11-12.  The teams will then travel to Marquette, Mich. to compete against Northern Michigan University and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay on Nov. 7-8.  After the trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula, WSU will see action at the Oakland Invitational on Dec. 3-6 to round out the calendar year.  

The Green and Gold will begin the 2026 portion of the campaign in Grand Rapids, Mich., as the teams will travel to Calvin University on Jan. 9 at 3:00 PM before returning to Detroit to host Grand Valley State on Jan. 10 at 1:00 PM for the team's home opener.  The Warriors will travel to Findlay on Jan. 17 at 1:00 PM, followed by the squad's final home meet against Davenport on Jan. 23.  Wayne State will wrap the regular season on the road, as the team will compete at Oakland on Jan. 24.

Postseason competition will begin with the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Conference (GLIAC) Championships at the Holland Community Aquatic Center in Holland, Mich. on Feb. 6-9.  Following the league meet will be the NCAA Championships on Mar. 10-14 in Evansville, Ind. at the USI Aquatic Center.
