GROSSE ILE, Mich. -- The Wayne State University men's golf squad leads its own Motor City Shakedown through 36 of the 54 total holes played. The Warriors carded a two-under 566 (277-289) on Monday to rank first among the four-team field.
"The boys had a good day today," said head coach
Mike Horn. "Very challenging green complexes, but I'm happy with our performance. We continue to show moments of brilliance and then struggle to keep it going. That is something we're going to work on for the entire winter and we're going try to get better physically, mentally and in everything we do. I challenge the guys in this article to be that catalyst for us to make that happen next spring. With a good day tomorrow, hopefully we can bring home a victory."
