Senior fencer Kaja Klodawska medaled at the 2014 NCAA Midwest Regional Championships on Saturday, placing third overall in the sabre. It was her best finish at the NCAA Regionals in her four-year Wayne State fencing career. Klodawska reached the semifinals, before falling to the No. 1 seed. She rebounded with an 15-11 win in the third place match to medal.
