Reka Galfalvy (Budapest, Hungary) placed first in the individual women's epee at the Central Collegiate Fencing Conference (CCFC) Championships this past weekend, posting an 8-2 ledger during pool play (+21 touch differential).  Galfalvy was seeded second in the direct elimination stage, collecting a 15-5 win over Lawrence's Nora Anderson and a 15-10 triumph against Natasha Lee (Northwestern) to advance to the finals bout, where she bested teammate Salma Abdrabou 15-10.  The junior helped the women's epee team to a third-place team finish after going 13-2 in her bouts.
