DETROIT -- The Wayne State University men's golf team is ready for its third tournament of the fall as it will host the Motor City Shakedown on Monday and Tuesday at TPC Michigan. The event will consist of 36 holes on day one before the third and final round the day after.
"TPC's in fabulous shape," said head coach
Mike Horn. "The greens are healed and rolling very smoothly. The Warriors are planning on playing very well in really nice weather. I'm looking forward to the boys really starting to come together as a team. We've gotten off to a very good start this year and we want to keep it going at our home event. It's very important for us to play the par fives well and to be consistent on the greens. This will really start to show what kind of team we can be in the future."
