GAME STORYLINES
The women's basketball team welcomes Lake Superior State and Saginaw Valley State to the WSU Fieldhouse on Thursday, February 26, and Saturday, February 28, respectively.  The Thursday contest is scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM, while the Saturday meeting will have a 1 PM tip and will serve as Senior Day for Wayne State.  The Warriors have clinched a home GLIAC Quarterfinal game on Wednesday, March 4 that will start at 5:30 PM.

WSU has won 20 games in a season for the second straight year and fifth time under head coach Carrie Lohr, who previously garnered three consecutive 20-win seasons (22 in 2012-13, and back-to-back 23-win seasons in 2013-14 and 2014-15).  Wayne State had two 20-win seasons prior to coach Lohr (21 in 1981-82 for Mike Weatherhead; and 20 in 1994-95 for Diane Wisnewski).

SERIES HISTORY
The Green and Gold is 48-42 all time against the Lakers, winning the last five meetings and 12 of the last 13.  When playing at home WSU is 30-15, with victories in the last 16 match-ups in Motown.  The last falter at home being a 79-55 loss on January 16, 2010.
