Biography


Jason Clark enters his ninth year at Wayne State University and sixth as an Associate Director of Athletics. Clark oversees the operations in the sports of football, baseball, women[apos]s ice hockey, men[apos]s and women[apos]s fencing, and men[apos]s and women[apos]s swimming, as well as the University[apos]s intramural program.

During his tenure at WSU, Clark has served as tournament director for the College Hockey America (CHA) men[apos]s and women[apos]s tournaments in 2006, the GLIAC Swimming and Diving Championship in 2005, and the GLIAC softball tournament in 2001.

Clark came from the Mid-American Conference office where he served as the Director of Administration. Clark[apos]s duties included coordination of all conference meetings and functions, and was responsible for all Conference policies and procedures.

Additionally, he served as the staff liaison for field hockey, wrestling, gymnastics and softball.

He is a member of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).

Clark, who began his professional career at the MAC as a graduate assistant, graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1997. He is married to former WSU softball player Rebecah Pierce and the couple resides in Oak Park with their children, Piercen and Lucy.
