Wayne State University Athletics

Prior to returning to Wayne State, she served as the volunteer assistant at Michigan State University until she took over the Director of Volleyball Operations position on the onset of the 2007 season. She earned her graduate degree from MSU in Kinesiology, Sports Administration and Coaching in 2004 and is currently pursuing her doctorate.

Tranter was the head volleyball coach at Olivet College for four seasons (2001-04) and an assistant professor in the Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Sport department in addition to teaching Business courses. She was the assistant coach at the University of Findlay for one year (2006), and worked as a financial analyst (1997-2000).

Tranter is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA) and currently resides in Oakland County.
