Hall of Fame
Nastassja A. Chambers was a four-year basketball letterwinner (2016-20), who became just the second player in the 46 years of WSU women's basketball to record 1,000 points, 180 assists, 150 steals and 60 blocks joining Hall of Fame selection Lisa Gentry.
Chambers was just the third player in program history to average double figures each of her four seasons and finished her career second in both scoring (1,389 points) and minutes played (3,269), third in field goals made (528), tied-for-third in games played (113), tied-for-fourth in free throws made (291), sixth in both free throw percentage (.795 / 291-of-366) and games started (92), ninth in blocked shots (64) and 16th in steals (156).
She scored in double figures 74 times with 13 games of at least 20 points and notched one double-double with 26 points and 13 rebounds on January 4, 2018, at Ferris State.
Chambers was a two-time All-GLIAC Second Team selection (2018 and 2020) and tallied a team-high 17 points in a GLIAC Quarterfinal win at FSU in 2020.
She equaled the school record for points by a freshman with 358 during the 2016-17 campaign. Â Chambers made at least 124 field goals every season, grabbed at least 86 rebounds each year, and dished out at least 38 assists every season.
A three-year GLIAC All-Academic team selection, Chambers earned her bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.
The Ypsilanti native garnered a spot on the Academic Honor Roll six times, including four times on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll (term GPA 3.5+).
