Yahsha Moore was a four-year tennis letterwinner (2011-15), who was a four-time All-GLIAC performer (First Team in 2012-13-14 and Second Team in 2011).

Moore concluded her collegiate career first in school history with 97 doubles victories and third with 87 singles victories.  She won 79 percent of her collegiate matches compiling a 184-49 record, while playing primarily No. 1 singles and first doubles.  After playing No. 3 singles and second doubles as a freshman, Moore played No. 1 singles and first doubles her final three seasons.

Her senior season, Moore was ranked first in the Midwest Region in doubles (for the second consecutive year) and third in the Region in singles, after being ranked sixth in singles as a junior.  Each of her last two years she was ranked in the top-25 nationally in doubles (25th as a junior and 19th as a senior).

She helped lead the Warriors to a 90-18 overall record with three NCAA Tournament appearances.

In her junior season, Wayne State won the first NCAA regional title in program history advancing to the NCAA Round of 16 for the first time ever.

WSU won the 2014 GLIAC Regular-Season and Tournament titles, the first for the program since 1982, after finishing second the three previous years.

A native of West Bloomfield, Moore received a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Sports Administration.  She earned Academic Honor Roll status three different semesters.
